  • Partnered with the VP of Global Business Group’s leadership team

  • Developed a detailed strategy so all XFN partners would be aligned on content creation and on-time deliveries, bringing teams together, and working with leadership to ensure their expectations were met.

  • This resulted in the creation of a new system that will influence future All Hands, which led to a memorable All Hands and positive feedback from the leadership team.

Playground

  • Playground is a library of imaginary brands used to experiment, prototype, and showcase our products across Meta's family of apps. These assets are used internally by multiple teams across Meta.

  • Saw the opportunity to build a company-wide tool and proactively took on the challenge.

  • Partnered closely with XFN partners and Vertical Leads to build each brand’s business and creative strategy.

  • While building Markt (Playground’s eCommerce vertical brand) I had the opportunity to take on a live brief with Amazon to use my learnings and fundamentally shift dynamic product ads for one of the biggest advertisers in the world.

  • Playground’s relaunch impact:

    • Downloaded 4x more than previous half

    • Over 135k downloads

    • Is used by over 50 teams throughout Meta, showing up in product launches and even in Zuck’s all hands!

Instructional Design

  • Brand Camp is a solution for helping small businesses who are just getting started building their brand. 50% of small businesses use Facebook and Instagram every day, yet most struggle with building content that will help them gain visibility and stand out.

  • Brand Camp helps SMBs build a brand identity toolkit and gives them the confidence to create better content on Instagram and Facebook, which will ultimately help them drive business outcomes.

  • The results:

    • We activated Brand Camp with 50+ businesses globally

    • Brand Camp scaled from an internal workshop to a Meta for Business Blueprint course as well as other online resources (see links below)

Instagram Live Shopping

  • To celebrate and commemorate LHHM, we took the opportunity to identify and invite LatinX-owned small businesses to participate in creating Live Shopping shows across FB & IG. The goal for this program was to not only celebrate community and culture, but to also empower SMBs to use the Live Shopping product to scale their business and share their story.

  • As the Design Director on the project I had a hands-on approach. I trained the businesses on everything from product demonstration/incentive, set design to DIY equipment to enhance seller/shopper experience.

  • The result — All the behind the scenes footage (1:1 training, pre-pro meetings, day-of filming) scaled into four How-To Videos that will empower businesses of all sizes to live on their own as well as scalable best practices for SMBs to live on the IG Playbook.

Instagram Shopping x Fenty

Design lead

  • Collaborated with Instagram’s Fashion Partnerships team.

  • The strategy behind the communications design was approved and well received by Eva Chen, VP Fashion Partnerships, and presented by her to members of Fenty’s C-Suite (Rihanna!) in Paris.

  • The presentation was so successful that it was shared across all Instagram Partnerships teams (Entertainment, Sports, Music…) and the template was adapted for future pitches.
